Jonix Atieno
Jonix is 23 years old and lives in Kibera slum in Nairobi. Having first met Jonix in 2007, Edtaf has built a strong relationship with her and it is a privilege to be funding her University education, which began in August 2010.Jonix is studying community development in Nairobi. Her aim is to use this knowledge to advocate for women's rights in Kibera.
Despite her young age, Jonix has vast experience in this area and we are excited to see the difference she will make in Kibera and the improvement she will bring about for women living in the slum. But first she needs the education.
